Villa la Route du Rhum is a newly opened B2C villa rental business in St. Barthélemy in the high-end luxury travel sector. The goal is to create a scalable growth and attract more customers for the villa rental.

Situation & Challenges

The villa was newly introduced to the rental market with no existing marketing foundation. Operating in a highly competitive luxury segment where acquisition costs are significantly higher, efficiency and a well-balanced channel mix were critical from day one.

Approach

  • Defined the strategy using the Growth Funnel framework to identify opportunities across the full customer journey.
  • Executed the strategy in focused sprints, starting with the technical and distribution foundation, followed by implementing the marketing tactics.
  • Continuously optimised performance to drive sustainable growth, increase direct bookings, and build long-term retention through automated loyalty flows.

Results

  • Built the foundation of an integrated booking system on website for all Online Travel Agencies (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) for scalability.

Approach

  • Worked closely with Susanne Bavinck, Head of Marketing, to translate the new brand identity into a clear online marketing and content strategy aligned with Sweav’s growth ambitions. 

  • Analysed and prioritised LinkedIn content together using a High Effort–Low Impact framework to make informed decisions on which post formats and topics would drive the most visibility and engagement. 

  • Executed a full brand rollout across all touchpoints, including email marketing, LinkedIn posts, pitch decks, website cases, marketing materials and app design, taking ownership of the process end-to-end and ensuring consistency.

Results

  • Fully implemented rebranding across all marketing channels and brand assets within a four-month timeframe.
  • Stronger brand positioning and increased visibility in a competitive market dominated by larger players.
  • Enhanced engagement and increased amount of LinkedIn followers.

Sweav, founded in 2021, is a B2B platform that helps companies hire freelance top-notch Strategy and M&A professionals.

As an interim executive, I was responsible for executing Sweav’s Rebranding and Content Marketing Strategy. 

Situation & Challenges

Sweav had recently introduced a new brand identity and was entering a strong growth phase, competing with well-established players in the strategy and M&A recruitment market. The challenge was to translate the new positioning consistently across all marketing channels while building credibility and visibility fast enough to stand out against larger competitors with greater brand recognition and resources.

Villa River42 Camps Bay is a newly opened B2C/B2B villa rental business in Cape Town, South Africa in the high-end luxury travel sector. The goal is to create direct bookings.

Situation & Challenges

This villa is dependent on a villa management company, resulting in high commission costs and limited control over bookings or online platforms. Previous marketing efforts generated interest but lacked clear ROI, while the luxury market’s high acquisition costs made it essential to build a more efficient, scalable strategy focused on direct and B2B bookings.

Approach

  • Defined the growth strategy using the AAARRR Funnel framework to identify to identify where value could be created.
  • Starting with building a strong website foundation, and local SEO, Google My Business optimisation and a professional Instagram presence, followed by a B2B-focused travel agent strategy including a dedicated agent landing page, sales brochure and automated outreach campaigns.
  • Implemented activation and retention mechanics through a QR-based loyalty program, review automation and after-stay email flows to increase trust, repeat bookings and reduce dependency on commission-based platforms.

Results

  • SEO-proof website with a strong brand story and visuals.

  • Professional B2B brochure and Instagram channel supporting brand awareness and acquisition.

  • Outreach to 60+ luxury travel agents, resulting in 14 warm B2B leads and a response rate above 25%.

  • Increased visibility via Google My Business and Google reviews. 

  • Automated QR-based loyalty program supporting repeat bookings and retention. 

  • Reduced dependency on 30% commission fees with a structural foundation for direct and B2B bookings.

Lora di Lora is a B2C jewelry brand with a collection of golden and silver bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings and anklets.

Situation & Challenges

Lora di Lora had built a strong regional presence in just two parts of the Netherlands, mainly among girls and young women, and wanted to scale this success to a national level.

Approach

  • Defined the growth strategy using the AAARRR Funnel framework to identify to identify where value could be created.
  • Built a strong Instagram foundation with a consistent visual identity and content strategy to drive awareness.

  • Launched an “ambassador in every city” campaign, activating influencers with Instagram content and personal discount codes.

Results

  • Increased nationwide awareness through a consistent, ambassador-led Instagram content framework.

  • Drove acquisition with influencer-specific discount codes directly tied to sales.

  • Boosted referral and trust by activating local ambassadors in multiple cities.
