Hi, I’m Sterre Molendijk, founder of Starring.
I work where strategy, technology and marketing meet. At fifteen I built my first websites and experimented with visual design and marketing, long before it became my profession.
I studied International Business (BSc) and Digital Business (MSc), then worked as a consultant in digital transformation. That’s where I learned to turn business challenges into solutions that work in practice.
Alongside my studies and that full-time job, I founded Starring in 2022. In evenings and weekends I delivered around fifteen projects. It started with websites, but more and more it was about what comes next: marketing and growth.
I wanted to go all in on that direction, so I moved to growth marketing agency Sprints & Sneakers, where I got to work for nine more brands.
Today I combine my work at Sprints & Sneakers with Starring’s own clients. The approach is the same in both: bringing strategy, marketing and automation together into growth that is measurable and lasting.
As a child I was always busy reaching goals.
From one project to the next, and always busy making videos. I was also outdoors a lot, preferably on the water, sailing or surfing. Those two loves still come together, for instance in restoring and running my boat.
Always going the extra mile.
My best ideas often come when I step outside my usual surroundings. While travelling, on the water or after an afternoon of kiting. That freedom gives me energy, but it never makes me lose sight of my goals. So yes, sometimes I’m on the water during the day and open my laptop in the evening to work out that one idea or get something over the finish line.
I bring that same mindset to my work: room to think creatively, staying sharp on the goal and always willing to go that extra mile.
